Leanne was admitted to practice in 1999. She has worked in personal injury litigation in roles representing both plaintiffs and defendants for over 15 years.

Leanne has worked at Paul Alvaro Lawyers and Tindall Gask Bentley, two leading plaintiff personal injury law firms in Adelaide. Her last role prior to joining the Independent Bar in December 2018 was as a Senior Associate at Finlaysons where she worked for over 9 years, representing what was then South Australia’s sole compulsory third party insurer. She is a member of the Law Society of South Australia and the South Australian Bar Association. In 2019 and 2020, Leanne was listed in the Doyle’s Guide as a recommended barrister in South Australia in Insurance and Personal Injury.  Leanne co-founded Nyland Chambers in 2021. She accepts briefs in all personal injury matters including motor vehicle accidents, workers compensation, public liability, intentional torts and child institutional abuse.
